How a Single Mom is Making Money Online

Two years ago my husband wanted out of our marriage and I was still on maternity benefits with our second child. I was left with nothing.

I couldn’t go back to my previous job because I had some injuries after having my second child and had to move into my parents place in order to get back on my feet again.

There I was with two children, one 10 months and the other just turning 5. I felt hopeless and like a complete failure.

But I found a way to make money online despite my circumstances. The idea of making money online was something completely new to me. I had no idea what “affiliate marketing” was about but by doing some simple research, I found a system that worked like magic.

The basic concept of affiliate marketing is fairly simple.

It can be overwhelming when you think about all the information you have to know but if you follow these simple steps, you are well on your way to making money.

The first process is Market research. Research and understand what markets you have an interest in. This is a critical starting point as you want to know what your potential customers are looking for.

There is a term called “keyword research” – it means that you are looking for the actual words and phrases that individuals are typing into search engines like Google, Yahoo, or MSN. People are looking for answers to their problems and you if you do not do your research, you will be extremely disappointed later on.

When you know the keywords that potential customers are actively entering into the search engines, it will send an unlimited amount of free targeted traffic to your website.

Doing simple research is not difficult at all. If you go to Google and type in “Google Keyword Tool” then enter a phrase similar to the product you are interested in promoting, you will find tons of keywords that are being typed into Google similar to your niche.

Since you are going to promote products as an affiliate, it will cost you very little to enter the market but it’s a great idea to take the time to research your niche in order to avoid wasting your time.
