主婦之友 supplement for April 1936 (Showa 11).
主婦之友 = Shufu no tomo = "Housewife’s friend"
This particular volume is specifically about making men and women obi and hakama.
As a kimono enthusiast, not only do I collect kimono from Taisho and early Showa era, I also collect antique kimono sewing books. The "Shufu no tomo" books are by far my favourite!
If you can translate any of the text – please feel free to do so and let me know so I can add it – full translation credit will be given!
