► Materials – as you can see in the image, we chose a popular wood to build the body of your Mandolin – Maple! This wood not only looks incredible, it is also a great tonewood.
► The Fingerboard is made out of Walnut. The Walnut is a popular wood used in many musical instruments including guitars.
► The Mandolin is decorated with traditional ABS binding around the body of the Mandolin, the fingerboard and the headstock.
►Many folks overlook this tiny BUT USEFUL part: The Strap Pin. In this Mandolin the pin is already built-in so you can easily strap it.
► A Beautiful Chrome Plated Tailpiece.
► Adjustable Compensated Bridge
Important notes:
1. The bridge on all mandolins is not glued or screwed to the body, this is by design and completely normal. The bridge is held down by the pressure of the strings. The right location of the bridge is in the middle of the F holes. If the bridge in not located right in the middle of the F holes, You should loosen the strings a bit, gently move it to the correct location, and then tighten the strings back.
2. The strings action (the distance between the strings and the fingerboard) can be setup according to your preference. To do so simply use the 2 silver screws on the right and left sides of the bridge.
