eCYBERMISSION finalists participated in the STEM Tech Expo June 19 while
competing in the National Judging and Education Event held at the National
Conference Center in Leesburg, Va. During the Expo, the students had the
opportunity to explore hands-on demonstrations of thermal imaging,
strawberry DNA extraction, cryogenic freezing, hydraulic sediment response,
NXT LEGO Robotics, a parachute challenge and "Bugs, Microbes, Infection and
Immunity."
